Labor and delivery support

On your special day, we would be honored to give you and your baby the very best experience possible. Here are a few things you may want to know about our labor and delivery unit and how we care for you.

We give you the birthing options you desire

We want your special day to be as perfect as possible. That’s why we listen to your preferences, including when it comes to labor and delivery comforts.

Here are some of our options for managing labor:

Natural childbirth. These options include birthing balls, warm showers, special positioning, massaging tools and help with breathing techniques.

Pain relief medications. We work with physicians to provide IV pain medication. Anesthesiologists are also available around the clock to administer an epidural block and/or local anesthetic.

In addition, our remote fetal monitoring equipment means you can get up and walk during labor, if you want to. Many moms find that walking makes labor more comfortable.

Our birth center is modern and pleasant

Each of our birthing suites is large and accommodating. Amenities for you and your family include:

  • A warm, inviting décor.
  • Private bathrooms with spa showers and bidets.
  • Special sinks that make it easier to bathe your baby.
  • In-room meal service.
  • Modern and cozy furniture.
  • A sleeping space for your support person.

Our facilities are state-of-the-art

Our birthing suites are equipped with everything your labor and delivery team will need to provide a safe and comfortable birthing experience.

We also have an operating room in the labor and delivery area that is equipped for cesarean section births and emergency procedures.

Moms and babies stay together

After your baby is born, you will recover together in your private postpartum room. We encourage skin-to-skin contact, which helps with bonding and promotes breastfeeding.

If you need anything, our team is always nearby, thanks to our decentralized nursing stations that allow your nurse to stay closer to you.
