Sleep study

When sleep becomes a concern, your doctor may prescribe a sleep study to assess your level of sleep. During the study, you will be required to stay overnight at the Great Plains Health Sleep Medicine Center, located on the third floor of GPWest.

The Great Plains Health Sleep Medicine Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

The sleep study will record your brain waves, heartbeats and breathing as you sleep. It also charts your eye movements, limb movements and oxygen in your blood. This data will help your doctor make a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan.
