What to expect from the cardiac rehabilitation program

Participants come to our exercise facility two or three times a week for 6 to 12 weeks. Every person in the program is given an individualized exercise prescription and works with a nurse.

Criteria for admission
Physician referral with a qualifying cardiac disease diagnosis (heart attack, valve surgery, heart stents, heart bypass, heart failure and LVAD (left ventricular assist device).
Insurance companies generally cover cardiac rehabilitation with a qualifying diagnosis. If you are not sure about your insurance coverage, you should talk with your insurance company.
